The RMT Groundspreading service operates from our Opotiki depot. We service the surrounding rural areas supporting our local farming industry. RMT provide clear communication with farmers and clean vehicles to farm to ensure no cross-contamination can occur.

RMT operates a fleet of 4×4 spreaders with a capacity of up to 5 tonnes each. These vehicles are versatile, efficient, easy on the land. They are equally at home on flat to rolling or undulating hill country. They can spread via two application systems being twin spinners. This very economical system provides a more accurate spread at a larger capacity. It is ideally suited to granular or powder fertiliser types. This system is the best for spreading large quantities over a wide area.

Keeping on track

Each RMT Spreader comes equipped with a precision farming GPS guidance and job management system. With this software, we can map out your farm to ensure the correct fields are assigned to the job and track where we have been and what needs to be covered. The in-cab GPS display units accurately guide our drivers to the right field with all the information they need to do the job right.

Hillside application – no problem

We also have the turbo blower application system designed specifically for areas where the terrain is too difficult or dangerous to access. For example, the turbo blower is ideal for covering slopes and hillsides.
